ZoomInfo’s VP of brand, content, and communications wanted to utilize the popular day-in-the-life format to showcase ZoomInfo’s Sales Development Reps or (SDR’s). We wanted to give our followers a glimpse into an SDR's average day and showcase how their professional experiences affected their personal lives. ZoomInfo sells software to sales and marketing professionals, so we wanted to demonstrate that we "got" their world, and understood their day to day work and struggles.
They gave me the idea and asked me to lead the series production and development. We created an episodic series of four spectacular individuals - all with very different backgrounds. We interviewed each subject about their daily work and how it affected their personal lives. This direction brought out some great stories, and personal takes, that couldn’t have been predicted or planned any other way. For its run, the SDR day-in-the-life series became the top performing content on ZoomInfo's social channels. I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to collaborate with SDR’s, make a cool vertical video docuseries, and bring their stories to life. I served as director, writer, and editor on the project.
